Taylor Model Basin Federal Credit Union

Taylor Model Basin FCU
Security Information

Your online banking experience is very important to us at Taylor Model Basin Federal Credit Union. As a matter of convenience, Taylor Model Basin Federal Credit Union offers the ability to log in to our online banking program on the TMBFCU.com home page.

However, you may notice that the familiar padlock symbol in the bottom right hand corner does not appear on your browser, nor does the address in the address bar begin with "https", familiar security signs that symbolize the page is secure. This is because the home page itself is not encrypted.

During sign-in, after you click the "Login" button, a secure, encrypted connection is established between your personal computer's browser and the Taylor Model Basin Federal Credit Union online banking system, using Secure Socket Layers (SSL). You should always verify after you click "Log-in", that SSL is being used by looking for "https" to be displayed at the beginning of your address bar.

If you prefer to log in from a site that is SSL secured, you may click on "Online Banking" in the navigation bar at the top of our home page, then click on "Access Your Accounts". This will take you to a login page that displays the familiar padlock and "https" symbols.

Signing on to secure sites from an unsecured page is a common industry practice, and not unique to Taylor Model Basin Federal Credit Union.

Note: Taylor Model Basin Federal Credit Union can only take steps to establish a secure, encrypted connection after you click on the "Log-in" button. To help protect the information that you enter into your computer's browser before the secure connection is established, we highly recommend that you install a firewall, anti-virus software, and spyware detection software.
